Thomas proves to be a sueth-sayer...

"The ides of March" sayeth Tommay. Looks like Thomas Friedman reads INFDL. Although ultimately misguided in his over-estimation of Gorbachev's contribution to the fall of the Soviet empire (to be expected from Friedman), his ultimate point is valid. Where would we be in Iraq and the greater M.E. without him? I honestly hope this sentiment will gain steam, seeing as Sistani embodies the reformation of Islam that needs to occur world-wide. History will remember him as a revolutionary force for freedom.
