A Bad Day for America

Over the years activist judges have done much to destroy the constitution and injure the fabric of American society. None of them, however, has done nearly as much damage as a California Superior Court judge did today. The headline from the San Francisco Chronicle tells the whole sad story: "Judge says Jay Leno may make jokes about Michael Jackson."

This country has survived two world wars, the Cold War and the Carter Administration, but can America withstand the onslaught of spectacularly unfunny jokes that will result from this ruling? I’m not sure it can.
